Hi! Ariel from Leira Studio here. Day to day I make games and apps, but for a while now I've also been quietly working on… this very website. Today I can finally show you the result: Leira Studio now has levels, badges and VIP ranks. It's all about making your activity in the community visible — and having a bit of fun along the way.
What's new?
- Account levels from Lv. 1 to Lv. 100 for your activity on the site
- Badges for posts, comments, likes, support and regular visits
- VIP ranks — from Iron all the way up to the holographic Prism
- Subscriber heart showing how many months you've supported us
Levels (Lv. 1–100)
Every account starts at Lv. 1 and collects activity points. You earn points for:
- a published community post — 20 pts (up to 3 posts a day count)
- a visible comment — 5 pts (up to 10 a day)
- a like you give (to posts, comments, projects and artworks — likes on your own content don't count) — 2 pts (up to 25 a day; removing the like takes the points back)
- visiting the site — 3 pts (once a day)
- supporting the project (donations and subscriptions) — points in proportion to the amount: the bigger the support, the more points, with no daily limit
Your first level-up, to Lv. 2, comes after just 60 points, and each next level needs a little more. The level pill is a comic-style plate with cut corners and a thick ink outline, and it changes colour every 5 levels: it starts out grey, then moves through greens, teals, blues, purples, pinks, reds, oranges and olives, back through greens and blues, all the way to a deep gold just below the top.
At the very top waits Lv. 100 — a gold pill in a pink frame, topped with a crown: a gold crown floats above it and a glint sweeps across it every few seconds. In its full form — like here and on your profile — it also gets golden wings, spinning yellow rays and twinkling sparkles:
On your profile you'll find an expandable “Level thresholds” panel: a list of all levels with the points they require and a progress bar showing how much is left to your next Lv.
Badges
Badges are earned automatically for specific achievements. There are five types, each with four levels:
- Posts — 1, 10, 50 and 100 posts
- Comments — 1, 10, 50 and 100 comments
- Likes — 10, 100, 500 and 1000 likes received
- Supporter — from your first contribution, then $15, $75 and $250 in total
- Days visited — 7, 30, 100 and 365 days
Every badge is a round comic-style sticker that spins like a coin. With each level it gains more colour and its border goes from cream to silver to gold — the top level gets a rainbow holographic border, a yellow comic burst behind it and twinkling sparkles. Here's how it looks for posts and likes:
And for support and days visited:
VIP ranks
A VIP rank is a thank-you to everyone who supports Leira Studio. It depends on your total support and has 10 tiers: the first five are stars, the next five are crowns.
You get your first star, Iron, from just $5 of total support. At the top stands Prism — a holographic, rainbow crown from $50,000. You'll find the details and your progress in the “VIP tiers” panel on your profile.
Subscription
If you support the studio every month, a subscriber heart with your month count appears next to your name. Every month the heart moves up one colour — from Iron in the first month all the way to Diamond from the ninth month on. When your subscription ends, the heart leaves your name but stays in your profile badges for good, with your total months. Subscribe again and it returns next to your name, with the count picking up where it left off — no reset.
Where can you see it?
- on your profile — level, progress bar, badges and the “Level thresholds” and “VIP tiers” panels
- next to your name in community posts and comments
What's next?
This is only the beginning. The site grows together with my games and apps, so get ready for more changes — new things are coming soon. Let me know in the comments what you think of the system and what you'd like to see next. See you in the community!
